This procedure involves making tiny punctures or incisions through which the varicose veins are removed. Veins are very collapsible such that even large veins may be removed through the tiny incisions used in this technique.
Vein Gogh™ uses a hair-thin, insulated probe to thermocoagulate and instantly eliminate vessels dependably, repeatably, on any skin-type and on any part of the body.
The VenaSeal™ system delivers a small amount of a specially formulated medical adhesive to seal — or close — the diseased vein, rerouting blood to nearby healthy veins, which provides symptom relief.

Irwin B. Simon M.D., F.A.C.S. is a board certified general surgeon. Dr. Simon attended Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his Internship, Residency, and Fellowship training at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Simon’s fellowship was in advanced laparoscopic surgery and he remains on the cutting edge of minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Dr. Simon’s surgical practice has always included the treatment of varicose veins with the traditional surgical approach of ligation and stripping. With his extensive background in minimally invasive surgery, it was a natural progression to become involved in the latest technology offering minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins.
After proper evaluation, Dr. Simon customizes a treatment for each patient to include the least invasive and most effective techniques. Theses may include VNUS radiofrequency ablation, stab phlebectomies (small incision vein removals) and injection sclerotherapy where indicated.
Dr. Simon is pleased to offer minimally invasive treatment of venous reflux and varicose veins.
"I started getting spider veins in my 20s and was embarrassed to wear shorts and skirts. And living in Las Vegas, it is too hot to wear pants all the time. Dr. Simon was very professional and was able to get rid of what I had AND stop new veins from appearing. THANK YOU DR. SIMON!!!” -Emily L.
